Features

Everything dontslowme can do

A focused feature set built around one job: get bugs reported, triaged and resolved without slowing the team down.

Triage

A focused bug board

One scannable queue of everything that’s broken — sorted, filterable, and built for speed.

No swimlanes, no sprint ceremony, no nested epics. The board shows what’s open, who owns it and how bad it is. Filter by project, search across categories, jump to a bug in two clicks. Designed for teams who already know what to work on next and just need to see it clearly.

  • Severity-first sort with priority and status at a glance
  • Project switcher and live category filters in the sidebar
  • Pagination keeps long lists fast — no infinite scroll
  • Searchable across title, description and comments

Evidence

Screenshots and video, first-class

Most bugs are obvious once you see them. dontslowme makes attaching evidence effortless.

Drag and drop images and screen recordings directly onto a bug or into a comment. Video attachments play in a branded, custom-built player that matches the rest of the app and includes a one-click download. Attachments stay private to project members and are served over signed URLs.

  • Drag-drop image and video uploads up to 50 MB
  • Custom video player with seek, volume and inline download
  • Attachment counts visible on bug cards in the list
  • Delete individual attachments without losing the bug
Speed

Paste-to-attach screenshots

The fastest path from “I found a bug” to a filed report.

Hit Ctrl/Cmd + V anywhere inside a bug — on the card, in a comment, even while creating a new bug — and your clipboard screenshot is attached instantly. No upload dialog, no file picker. Use your OS screenshot shortcut, paste, write one sentence, done.

  • Works in the bug card, in comments and during creation
  • Captures from any OS screenshot tool that writes to clipboard
  • Instant preview before you save
  • Median time to file a bug with evidence: under 60 seconds

Audit

Visible status history

Always know where a bug stands — and how it got there.

The current status is shown prominently at the top of every bug, with the assignee and timestamp. The full history (who changed what, when) sits one click away in a scrollable panel, so long-lived bugs never push the rest of the page off-screen. Status changes are tracked automatically — no separate activity log to maintain.

  • Current status pinned above the fold
  • Compact history view with four most recent changes
  • Full timeline expands inline without breaking layout
  • Captures actor, status and timestamp for every change

Collaboration

Comments that pull their weight

Discussion lives next to the bug — with the same paste-to-attach speed.

Drop a comment, paste a screenshot, edit if you typoed, delete if you changed your mind. You can also remove individual attachments from a comment without nuking the thread. Everything stays inline so reviewers never have to context-switch to a separate chat tool to understand what happened.

  • Edit and delete your own comments at any time
  • Paste-to-attach works inside the comment box
  • Remove individual attachments without deleting the comment
  • Chronological thread keeps the full repro story in one place

Access control

Five roles that fit real teams

Invite engineers, designers, contractors and clients without overexposing data.

Roles are per-project so the same person can be an Owner in one project and a Reporter in another. Pick the smallest role that gets the job done — a freelance designer probably only needs Reporter, a client stakeholder probably only needs Commenter. RBAC is enforced at the database level via row-level security, not just hidden in the UI.

  • Owner — full control, including delete and member management
  • Editor — create, edit and resolve any bug
  • Status-only — move tickets through the workflow
  • Reporter — file new bugs and comment on their own
  • Commenter — read-only access plus discussion
  • OwnerFull control
  • EditorEdit any bug
  • Status onlyMove tickets
  • ReporterFile bugs
  • CommenterDiscuss only
Onboarding

Email and link invites

Two ways in — pick whichever fits how your team already works.

Invite a specific person with name, email and role and they’ll get a direct invitation. Or generate a shareable link with a preset role for self-serve onboarding — perfect for agency clients or QA contractors. Pending invites auto-resolve the moment the person signs up with that email, so you’re not stuck managing a queue.

  • Invite by email + name + role from the project sidebar
  • Generate role-scoped invite links for self-serve signup
  • Pending invites auto-attach to the right project on signup
  • Revoke or change a member’s role at any time

Distribution

Shareable bug links

Send a bug to anyone — safely.

Every bug has a stable URL you can paste into Slack, a PR description or an email. Project members opening the link are dropped straight into the bug card. Non-members see a friendly “you need access” notice instead of bug content, so you never leak repro steps or customer data to the wrong audience.

  • One-click copy from the bug card or detail dialog
  • Deep-link opens the matching bug automatically
  • Non-members see an access-required page, never bug data
  • Works for unauthenticated visitors too (they see the access page)

Insights

A built-in analytics dashboard

See the health of every project at a glance — without exporting a single spreadsheet.

The dashboard shows the numbers that actually matter for bug triage: resolution rate, average time to fix, open bugs by status, priority breakdown, weekly trend and a per-project comparison. Everything is computed live from your data, scoped to the project you're in, and updates the moment a status changes. No setup, no configuration — open the dashboard and you're looking at real signal.

  • Resolution rate and average time-to-fix KPI cards
  • Status, priority, project and 30-day trend charts
  • Per-project scoping with one click
  • Always live — no manual refresh or report scheduling

Reporting

Reports built for stakeholders

Generate a sharp, presentation-ready report in five seconds — for a client, a sprint review or your own records.

Five report types cover the questions teams actually get asked: executive summary with auto-generated insights, velocity (inflow vs outflow), quality (priority matrix and stale bugs), per-project breakdown and reporter leaderboards. Pick a 7, 30 or 90-day window, scope to a project and export the result to CSV or print-perfect PDF. Each report opens with a branded cover so it looks good attached to an email or pasted into Notion.

  • Executive summary with auto-generated insights
  • Velocity, quality, project and reporter reports
  • 7 / 30 / 90 day windows with project scoping
  • CSV export and print-optimized PDF output

Organization

Per-project categories

Keep triage consistent without inventing a tag taxonomy from scratch.

Each project ships with a sensible default set — UI, Backend, New Feature, Performance, Mobile and more. The category filter in the sidebar hides empty categories automatically so you only see what’s relevant right now. You can change the category from inside an open bug card with a searchable selector.

  • Sensible defaults per project — no setup required
  • Empty categories hidden from the sidebar automatically
  • Searchable category selector inside the bug card
  • Filter the board by category with one click
